Just want to share my thoughts on Myer. As a shareholder I like to know about the companies I invest in and if possible like to visit their work places. A few of weeks ago I happened to be in a Myer store and was horrified by the lacklustre stock display, disinterested staff and the general emptiness of the place. I made a decision then and there to offload my holding (which I did the next trading day) even though at the time the SP was on the rise. I just think Myer has lost its mojo and really needs something/someone to bring it back to what it used to be. Retail is tough I know, bit IMO Myer is in real trouble because of some really fundamental deficiencies in retail trading, which management must address as a matter of urgency. If they can then Myer may return to the iconic brand it once was.
