same broker behind the bot i think.
the 1.53 buy made the bot appear. ie it triggered it to cap the price. the idea is to have some meat in the sell depth so genuine sellers appear below the "fluff".
the broker can then acquire the options much cheaper as sellers who actually want to sell (god knows why) will want to be at the front of a queue.
this shit should be illegal. but it does demonstrate someone wants to increase their stake badly.
