I wouldn't hold your breath for Abbott et al to scrap negative gearing just because a marginalised, minority group is unhappy.
Rudd et al had years to abolish negative gearing yet they didn't either.
The Greens may...but again, I wouldn't hold your breath for them to win an election.
End result. Negative gearing is here to stay.
