the Maari economics are probably looking better and better given that many analysts now have a much less steep forward oil price curve (and if they want to hedge, this makes it easier to do without losing too much future value).

Also I thought that the upcoming Kapul well with Oil Search was meant to happen in the third quarter (HZN partly carried; high risk but high impact if successful) - but I also recall that it might have been delayed (too lazy to look it up atm).

Other, and possibly main reason, is that they must now be fairly close to getting a result at Bayou Choctaw - so possibly speculation about the outcome there.
