MTC, that would be the infamous BOT trader.
I consider myself as having reasonable experience in the game but I also find it hard to understand the rationale of the bots.
If I believe what I read on HC it has to do with manipulating the price to achieve a superior trading result for one's self.
Maybe someone else could give some more detail.
