Rosy - you must be so profit driven if you cannot see a conflict of interest with Rowbottam coming on board as a director.
You know the history of GDN surely - this is just another knife twist to those who have bottom drawed these hoping a miracle would happen. Longtermers have been subjected to somewhat unusual and inconsistent Anns (can't say much more) and management practices that are almost unbelievable.
So, Rowbottam already had an interest with GDN through utilising his own company and his group of investors in a heavily discounted cap raising in 2010 for GDN. Miraculously he comes across a venture in the Ukraine - ie Pov - agrees to terms Re JV - sets up offshore company in Cyprus (why was this necessary as the investors are an Australian group) as the vehicle then onsells the lease to GDN for 300mill heads 300mill options and the GDN agrees to pay the initial $1.5mill outlay aswell. So Rowbottams group doesn't even have to fit the $1.5mill and end up with the shares as profit $6-7million dollars at todays prices - all sorted in less than 6-8 weeks.
And then Rowbottam is appointed to the board as a director - again the question Why? And the other question is - was this part of the deal??
There also appears to be some new posters on this forum in the last few months that were already privvy to most of this info and who got in early at low 1s or cheap oppies and now try to pump this stock on HC for all it is worth - this forum and the DT forum.
So, whilst questions remain unanswered the questions will continue to be asked. HC is a forum whereby potential investors can obtain info that may or may not influence their investment decisions. I'm just here to ensure they get both sides not just the rosy out look she'll be right cobber side because when it comes to GDN - it isn't as good as it gets!!
All just my opinion - but when it comes to GDN - DYOR - check out their history, the directors and what past posters have said about managment.
