Brokers just can't admit that they have been wrong about this stock since it was taken over in 1998 by South African management that really know what they are doing. The so called experts say each year that indepenents in the grocery and liquor sector can't compete with Woolworths, Coles and more recently Aldi.

Each year the experts are proved to be wrong as Metcash goes from strength to strength by increasing its market share, profits and dividend.
