Have been a long time reader of your collective wisdom, but a newbie on this posting stuff - but I had to answer this one!
This one share caper to drop the price, happens to anyone who puts an order in at a price below the current market. It has happened to me several times when I found to my consternation I had purchased 1 share (all that b'- paperwork for 1 share at close of day - how Registries must hate this sort of stuff) and there is a robot around that has its eye on UCM.
There are players out there who LOVE small turnover, thinly traded stocks like UCM. Did you ever ride the See-saw as a kid running from one end to the other? "Up she goes - down she goes" - well they do and over time steal your investment on the way.
