As George Jones so suscinctly put it to the AMEC conference yesterday.....

"thinking is, in so many respects, becoming more short-term than ever, whether it is as individuals, companies or society in general".

"...with their funds judged on quarterly or annual results, fund managers in turn put companies under pressure by focusing on short-term results."

Think about the long term, that is unless you're a trader chasing a quick buck.
