This poses some questions, the first of which is why was this not an ASX announcement? Given the pairing of a defence industry goliath with this minnow, it certainly is significant, thus relevant to maintaining an informed market IMO. However, it looks like GA-CCRI just sells the analysis/visualisation software, not intelligence as such, thus it is a useful selling point to increase the value/reach of both companies' offerings rather than a transformational deal. Clearly adding Kleos' data stream to aggregated data supplied to existing GA clients is an easy upsell.
I have also been waiting for newsflow on the assumption that they have finally realised that they need to do something about the share price, and won't lift the suspension until they have confidence that they can boost the price. Is this the start?
In summary - it is an interesting and useful step forward, and should help drive additive sales of data. Building capacity in the sales pipeline is good, and perhaps means that they have confidence in increased data flow from the satellites in the near term. Useful but not a game changer.
