I think at this stage any sniff or inkling of a takeover would light the afterburner on the sp and launch it significantly higher (maybe into the 50's) imo.
In the short term we would see a massive spike when third party interest was acknowledged.
Long term would be a different scenario of course and it would be impossible to call due to the many possible variables.
I think most here are looking for a short term play for a longer term recoup imo - lol.
Do yourself a favour and go back 2 years on the price graph and look at the spike when the Company was drilling the first well ie; Paradox Basin # 1. Keep in mind that the drillers and the Company were not as professional at that stage, but have seemingly learnt a LOT since imo; however whilst economic conditions differ atm & the price of commercial gas for the nearby Utah grid is lower than 2007, PB#2 does appears to be more commercially prospective for GDN.
