Having said that, you might be right about families choosing less elaborate services due to the recession/depression.
If so, Invocare will make less money for the funerals they conduct and they might lose market share too as most of their brands are at the higher price end of the market. Difficult to predict how much impact the economic conditions will have on funerals. IVC have cemeteries in some states too and they wont be affected at all. Whether its a fancy funeral or a basic funeral, the cremation or burial costs will be the same.
