    Mr Paul

Let's try to move on to discuss possible strategies assuming the current compo offer is voted down.

If there is to be anything salvaged in the northern rivers it simply has to catch the imagination and support of a significant number of residents.

Harmonised powergen from solar, wind and peaking gas is technical (so involve Southern Cross university), regional (so involve local Councils), innovative (so involve the Federal Government) and avoids NSW being tarnished as representing sovereign risk (so, involve them too).

For this to work at least one PEL has to remain available in any compensation package to MEL. So why not just put a 10 year moratorium on the other PELs rather than call the compensation a "buy back"? Surely if CSG is as diabolical as green activists claim then 10 years of Queensland CSG should prove things one way or another?

This thread doesn't just have to be this one possibility for Metgasco .... thinking caps?

The thought of current management doing something disappointing with low ball or better compensation is disheartening ... if the no vote doesn't get up then I understand shareholders have no say in how the company moves forward or whether it is simply liquidated?
