Well looks like Jindal aren't going to vary their current bid so we now all have until the current deadline to decide whether or not to sell into their offer. Doesn't look like anyone else is going to take a bite of this cherry before the bid period closes.
Just had a read of the Corporations Act then and everything sam has been saying thus far is spot on. The only way I can see that Jindal can increase their holding in RCI after the bid is closed is via the 3% every 6 months creeping provisions contained within the Act but that would take them forever.
Anyone know if Jindal are allowed to relaunch another offer at a later date? I'm sure I've read previously that they have to have a cooling off period once the original offer closes.
