Strategy- Is it flatten the curve or eradicate?

    There are two completely different strategies for handling the virus. We should be clear and explicit which one the country is following. Is it?

    a) Eradication of all cases. NZ seems to have this objective. To maintain the result the country will have to almost eliminate international travelers and cut off from the rest of the world until the entire population is imunised. Or

    b) Flatten the curve so that hospitals can cope with the worst cases. I thought Australia was on this course. If it is it we need to loosen control so that we get an optimum number of new cases a day rather than trying to get zero.
