    Preumably the FIRB would restrict foreign ownership to 50%. Hence, perhaps a foreign battery company, BYD for example, could provide capital to KDR as a prepayment for say 5 years of lithium ore, lithium carbonate, etc. This approach enables BYD to secure supply and most probably at a discounted price.
