how about benitec take one of these successfully completed in vivo studies by the Chinese, such as the lung cancer one, and pitch a licence deal at them for commercialisation - at a discount as required to get the ball rolling, and bring in some interest and possibly cash to charge the in house work.
Might even set off a slight wave of anxiety amoungst the hesitating Western big pharma.
