"Interesting post on UK Stratmin BB

New July Port export data published

    The secret is out

Stratmin sold 40 tonnes to Asbury Carbons, arriving in US on the 20th July:

    20 tonnes sold at $1800 per t
    20 tonnes sold at $1285 per t

Selling average ~$1500 per t vs cost under $400 per t

I would recommend that you do not make the assumption that you have above related to pricing.

Do you trust the values (Price) that this Chinese internet company call "PortExaminer" has provided? From my experience the values are not public data so i am assuming that this Chinese company makes up the values (Price) to try and show they can provide more data then other internet Import & Export companies.

With what I know about today's market prices I assume these values (prices) are false.

    Hi Skier @Graphite
Would you be able to give a realistic opinion of the price Asbury maybe paying Stratmin for their required spec?

    Cheers
