Blackdog, I hope most TXN survivors held on to their SEA shares. I owned both prior to and throughout the acquisition/merger. Barely broke even on TXN but was lucky with SEA because I mostly bought just before its first Bakken sale in July 2012. The EFS asset and my investment in TXN would have been down the drain if the TXN crew were still in charge!
Still early days for SEA, I imagine. Would be nice to see SEA become a US mid-cap and eventually have a successful US listing (SEA's withdrawn US listing attempt in late 2013 was our gain and a loss to US investors). So, even after 2 years as a SEA shareholder, I plan on holding most of my SEA shares for some time.
