There has only been one and only one drill hole at Torrens ... and as per the statement before Xmas, it is being re-drilled at about the half way mark via a 'daughter' drill hole to re-orientate the direction.

The 1st drill hole was to a depth of 1198 metres ... the daugter drill hole commenced at 516m and was at 651m on Dec 14 when the announcement was made, and a day before the Dec 15 Xmas break ... to recmmenced on 7 January 2008.


So, based on previous announcements where 25-30m drilling per shift is anticipated (a 3 shift max per day gives just under 75m to 90m per day), you would think that drilling of his first drill hole is getting fairly close ... I would expect completion sometime sometime this week, maybe the following week at the latest.

We may get an announcement of 1st drill hole completion with 'visuals'; but the laboratory testing is where we may experience hold-ups.

As Emerger has shown in his chart, 'ARE is looking good to emerge back into the up trend' ... it will be interesting to see if based on the drilling 'visuals' there is any increase in volume this week.
