Moringa- the Medicinal Tree Contact Report 221, Quetzal Date of Contact: 30th December 1987 Date of Translation: 4th June 2010 Native to South Asia and North Africa, the Moringa tree grows rapidly at about 3 meters in height per year and contains active compounds that can be used against anemia, hypertension and diabetes as well as for the building and strengthening of the immune system. The immune building can act as a means of defense against AIDS. Moringa is nutrient rich in vitamin C and calcium. The seeds of the Moringa tree are very oily, whereby the oil can be used as a lubricant and as a fuel for machinery. The seeds can also purify dirty water much better than any chemical can. Recommendation: Since Moringa is rich in calcium, it is a good choice of supplement if you include milk in your diet.
