iiNet Perth-based ISP and VoIP provider is planning to add another 150 exchanges to the 200 or so already equipped with its own DSLAMs.


The new deployment will cost the country's third largest ISP a total of $15 million but ill extend its SADSL2+ network to within range of 90 per cent of the country's metropolitan population.

This will mean that more than 4 million households will be able to access DSL broadband at speeds up to 24 Mbps, far beyond the rates available from BigPond or its wholesale partners.
