I share your sentiment and it's was the question that I was also about to ask ER. Whether the GEO was on board at time of Samo and his involvement. I too agree with Gadocha.. big difference between how Geologists interp vs Geoscientists... Boy do they differ... and always found it funny how the geoscientists would come into a room spread themselves over the maps and tell GEO where the resource lies . CN and her team had it massively wrong..... "It aint water" and the presso schematics pictured Samo as a monstrous redhot Mt Everest.. I asked myself, how could they get it so terribly wrong. They were also wrong on another well, north of SNE from memory. So yes, fair question re the GEO with whom ER conversed.
My view remains unchanged namely that the real pearls lie in A1 and A4 but there seems pretty convincing indication that SNE extends into Gambia. So if they pinpoint right they should hit it this time around... (even just for the sake of putting the cat amongst the pigeons and then also that pesky unitization stumbling block that will rear its head). Of course, prospect of commercial volumes will depends to what extent the southern perimeter of SNE depleted heading further south.
