I was hoping this would not happen. But now we are hearing about possible strike action.
Think of it this way. If you were just about to guarantee the debt of a company, and you heard of strike threats, what would you do?
In other words, the possibility of default, and the guarantee being required, - just jumped dramatically with talk of strike action.
How absolutely crazy at this point. If the union strikes, it will guarantee Qantas demise. The public loyalty, - already fragile, - will disappear.
