strip searching teenage girls

A freedom of information request has just revealed that NSW police have strip searched close to 4,000 girls and women under 25 years of age over the last 3 years - 66% of whom were found to be carrying nothing illegal. While that might be a nice gig if you can get it - IF YOU'RE A FREAKING PERVERT, one has to vigorously question if the cops involved were satisfying some sick sexual desires under the guise of an equally questionable legal policy. Worst still and equally disturbing, was that more than 100 of these strip searches were conducted on under age girls without guardians present with only one was found to be carrying one single anti-depression tablet.
Then, to make matters even more disturbing, the NSW police commissioner David Elliot comes out this morning in defense of these Orwellian indignities to say that he has young children, and he would be happy for them to be strip searched. I'll let the readers draw their own conclusions from that un-fatherly perversion.
