    Hi Cazzex

Your mother, you and family have my best wishes.

I had a stroke a few years ago in San Jose, Costa Rica. The damn thing rendered me speechless and unable to do most things, not even move in the first hour or so. I even had two nurse take me to the toilet, couldn't even hold onto “him” for a wee, it's just the pits. Fortunately the stroke was mild, a wake up call, now, apart from a few issues I am 100% ok.

Since the stroke I get emotional, can shed an easy tear, could never shed a tear before, movies, ANZAC day can kill me, your post even had me teary, I know, and believe I know how it is. One thing I never did was give up, the mind still computes, hopefully your mum has a positive outlook.

Hope your mother improves, my wishes are with her.

    Dtrad
