I agree, but you shouldn't be surprised - we are dealing with analysts here... Not putting any timeframe allows them to manage risks and clients/readers' expectations.

If we were to put it to them, I think their answer would be that the price target represents the current valuation based on current fundamentals, but fundamentals is only one component of the equations. And that this price target should be reached by the end of the next 6-12 months.

To be fair, predicting the timing would be too risky for these firms.
To be realistic, it is just a way to cover their backside.
