Accents’ growth strategy is not trying to compete with JD Sports or Footlocker they are a saturated segment of the market, hence they no longer focus on the Athletes foot. Platypus/Hype DC is into urban fashion footwear not competitive sports footwear hence their growing success in Australia/ NZ. The crossover barely exists and hasn’t affected their ascent here at all has it?
