But they only told the market after the event...in the quarterly by memory?

This delay resulted in a set-back of timelines...so when people were buying shares (and options) prior to the quarterly (based on Company guidance), they were actually doing so unaware of the current situtation.

Not a problem for buyers of heads...they just have to wait a bit longer...but terminal for buyers of short-dated options.

Given their actions, the Company should do the right thing and offer recently expired option-holders replacement options...just as GTE did recently for their expired options...and other companies have done in the past when timelines are effected by various events.
