You are thinking 30 years old exploration techniques.
Costs them nothing to do some geochem, surface sampling, fly aeromag and then define targets and drill.
They'd still have change from $500K doing all that.
That ground alone and a drill program on it is worth $15 to $20Miln.
Someone bought in hard today and they have deeper pockets than me so I would suggest it is a new substantial holder or small fund.
