listening to Elon and in the context of his previous statements of only having two battery formulations, my speculation is he's talking about augmenting or doping lfp with manganese, LMFP, as the volume chemistry (with its 15-25% increased energy density).
if you can get 25% additional capacity with a quality manganese, but keep the safety, cycle life & lack of battery management (ie. 100% use) that LFP is renowned for, that's more than compelling
