Numbers on my above post were slightly off - in 12/2018, EV had 126 planes (claims using flight level 2-4000feet) capture frequency 18-24months at 4-6", and was aiming to drop to 40-50 twinprops (flying 3-4 times higher) for a frequency of 6months at 1.5". Very roughly, you can assume height and capture sweep width are proportional (eg. maintaining same angles), and that a twinprops operating costs will be at least double a single.
So their long term goal barely touches Nearmaps current best, which is 3-6monthly at 3".
