As travelbug points out, visible gold is not actually a pre-requisite to a good discovery in this style of exploration. The type of gold required here is probably not typical of gold discoveries in other areas of the world. I am no geo though .

For me this makes the investment here more exciting, given a result of a single zone of say, a few metres at a high gpt content could be the catalyst for a company maker, but also more risky as what they are targeting is difficult to initially find and then vector in on.... so high risk/high reward for each hole they put in. The single 7m quartz vein they initially intersected suggests to me that management and their geo team know their stuff and are not blindly drilling and/or wasting their time here. The 6 new zones of quartz veining found recently back this theory up.
