Tunisia has a cohegent army (that can and will secure the border) and a relatively independent and well educated civil service. Libya has none of those things.

Ben Ali left early (me thinks with a bit of prodding from the military) ditto for Muburak but not so for Gadhafi. While there is a a power vacuum it is essentially business as usual for the O&G industries in Tunisia and Eygpt UNLESS plant, equipment and personnel are stuck across the boarder in Libya.

Will Gadhafi come over the boarder to blow up wells? NO! He has enough trouble at home.

From a myopic investment perspective what matters is whether or not a project is significantly delayed, or indeed terminated ,as one was for political reasons in Kingaroy. Go to the CXY thread and ask those folks.
