Rig B.O.P are not the problem it's the surface test equipment. Highest rated surface equipment is 15,000 psi and normally the best reservoirs struggle to reach this figure.
The maximum pressure rated separator is 2,160 psi and an applicable choke manifold is used to decrease downstream pressure.
