Clive is very smart.
He effectively put a cap on the price with his option and then to his luck the market crapped out and everything including MEO went south.
If he was keen to buy at 60c then be would have certainly bought when it was very very low.
He knows whats out there and is willing to bet with heaps of dollars to get in on the action.
Good luck with this stock as this could be one of the biggest plays for the year
