It`s starting to look like the profit for the six months ended 31/12 will be based on an average Zinc price well in excess of the average price received for the six months ended 30/6. Should be another strong result. I`d hazard a guess and say earnings should be 200 c.p.s or better considering earnings were 179 c.p.s for the last six months.

It`s funny how most of the small mining stocks, especially the nickel producers, are at or near all time highs while the larger producers have been sold down over the last few months. I`m thinking, if base metal prices remain roughly where they are now, there is money to be made on the larger cap stocks over the next few months. If they happen to go higher then all the better.

Then again i could be completely wrong!
