    The negative correlation between the USD and equities is like a bad economic habit. I think there should be decoupling at some point.
    In fact, a stronger USD should bolster Australian resource exports as our cost base is in the lower AUD denomination. I should think also that any spike in the USD is opportunity to sell USD into higher value assets... as we have seen with the spate of Chinese sovereign funds buying into Aussie companies.
