Well the expected US ban on imports of Russian oil has put another rocket under the POG now US$2,040 and soon to reach the all time high from August 2020. This is seeing a flight to hold an inflation hedge and safe haven. Wow I remember the oil shocks of the mid 1970’s and did not think I would see this again in my life time with a global oil supply shock.
