Here is a similar chart in LOG scale which shows the bull market in gold running for over a decade.
Although Gold doesnt hit the upper and lower bands as much on this chart you can clearly see a well defined channel.
Based on this chart gold could easily go into the low $2,000's in the short term. IMO
