THe effect of the NAB deal and others is to make it easier for CUS customers to get there cash at their own ATM. Ask a cop or a teacher or anyone with a creit union how hard it was to find a rediteller. They are now thrilled. It will canabilise CUS trans.
In terms of merchant rebates up 50c over time. I have asked a few merchants and they are being offered substantially more than 50c more than they were getting from new competitors entering the market. Wont affect CUS today but it will tomorrow.
Lets hope a killer offer comes in before results deteriorate.
