on my calcs, the market is currently factoring in $88 mil of write downs . this seems a bit harsh although time will tell.
perhaps its time to cut exposure to perth somewhat (maybe carve up the complex and sell off part of it (with plans and permits)) and re-invest elsewhere? there may well be long term overseas investors looking to take advantage of the dip in prices who would otherwise pay a premium and can now can pay a fair price, given the market drop.
the calibre of the board and them having plenty of skin in the game gives me some confidence.
