    Assuming all of CAWF sells, the $2.4bn-odd would initially pay down the $1.7bn debt the fund owes and the remaining $700m would be divided between CNP and DPF. CNP would probably use its portion to pay down more debt.

    I guess in theory, we could see Centro pay off around $2bn in debt when this happens.

    Can you imagine the Fairfax article?

    "No-longer-debt-ridden Centro pays off $2bn debt."
