Sure. My thinking (along with others) is this. Shinochem want to buy NUF. They want to pay as little as possible. They know Rathebone persuaded institutions in May09 to buy-in at $11.25 (or was it $11.50?) They know that institutions won't accept less than that and hopefully not below $12.25.
Anyway, last 2.5 months we have seen 3 profit downgrades from NUF. Clearly the result due out on 28 september will be awful. So it suits the bidder to wait for mkt to digest the lousy news/facts... and then announce they will save shareholders from their pain by buying NUF for cash. Hence, my 'best-guess' is 30 september. Certainly, i can't see a bid B4 28/09. So based on the above i am holding until TO is announced. def DYOR.
PS. ask yrself this. Shinochem have now spent 6 weeks at NUF going through EVERYTHING. If they had lost interest... why are they still checking and re-checking every damn item??
