You are making it all a bit more more complicated than it needs to be giordi and (if you do so 'believe' it to be so) a quick call to their secretary will lay that matter to rest.
Then you can be entirely sure of your position.

My answer would be a resounding yes.
Buy shares now or before any information specific demerger announcement and you will most definitely be eligible.

If however you do not own shares presently you have missed a perfect opportunity to pick up some more with the Share Purchase Plan at 9 cents.
This is closed to non shareholders now.
