I'm no expert at building roads but I imagine for trial purposes only a small section (talking metres here) of the concrete slab would need to contain the Edencrete admixture so I assume this happened Tuesday US time. I also imagine the trial section would be laid next to the regular concrete mix so that wear rate comparisons can be assessed over time with the exact same traffic conditions.
