I asked the question of Salty last night and he was chasing up an answer, but maybe you will know. If there were no options issued in the AIM listing how could there be a market for them on opening? Salty suggested that London brokers could buy them on market here and shunt them to the UK for sale on AIM, but this would take some time wouldn't it?
