    hi guys..

    just another marketscan...

    shows (smy) now in another uptrend..

    from recent high of 94cents fell approx 42% too low 53cents

    last price 65cents...

    so we have a good solid uptrend in progress..

    worth having a look at a weekly/daily chart...

    everything seems on track for production in the later part of the year, hence we might see the share price increase over the coming months..

    just an overview:

    Sally Malay Mining Limited (SMY) is a base metal exploration and development
    company with projects in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. The company
    is primarily focused on the development of the Sally Malay nickel-copper-cobalt
    project.

    THE SALLY MALAY PROJECT: Located 240km south of Kununurra in WA's East
    Kimberley. Resources as at December 2003 were 3.74Mt @ 1.74% Ni, 0.72% Cu and
    0.09% Co (2.16% Ni equivalent) for 65,000t Ni, 27,000t Cu and 3,000t Co using a
    0.2% Ni equivalent cut-off. Reserves as estimated in August 2003 were 3.4Mt @
    1.56% Ni, 0.64% Cu & 0.08% Co using a 0.64% nickel equivalent cut-off.

    Net present value (NPV) as at December 2003 was estimated at A$100m with an IRR
    of 70%. This was based on a mining rate of 750,000 tonnes per year over 5.5
    years, commodity prices of US$4.9/lb Ni, US$0.84/lb Cu and US$10.75/lb Co,
    discount rate of 7.5% and A$/US$ exchange rate of 0.69.

    In July 2003, SMY agreed to sell 100% of its production to Sino Nickel Pty
    Limited, a joint venture between Jinchuan Group Limited and Sino Mining
    International Limited.

    As at January 2003 open pit mining was scheduled to commence in February 2004,
    with the first concentrate production forecasted for third quarter 2004.

    COPERNICUS AND SALK NORTH: In March 2003 the Company formed a joint venture with
    Thundelarra Exploration Ltd on its 100% owned Copernicus and Salk North
    nickel-copper prospects in the East Kimberly. SMY can earn up to 100%. Resources
    at the Copernicus Prospect as at December 2003 were 241,000t @ 1.5% Ni, 0.8% Cu
    and 0.059% Co using a 1% Ni cut-off

    CORKWOOD: The Corkwood Project is located in close proximity to the Sally Malay
    plant. Resource as at November 2003 were estimated at 225,000t @ 0.65% Ni, 0.24%
    Cu and 0.03% Co for 1,500t Ni, 500t Cu and 70t Co.
