re: swiftel vs telstra - download limits Telstra need to do something about losing their customer base to ISPs like Swiftel. Recently the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman
warned Telstra about their "double dipping" practices.

Charging their customers for downloads and uploads on a capped plan, ripping them off deducting hundreds and even thousands of $ from their accounts.

Telstra will have to stop ripping off their customers and start treating them like humans and learn how to send mail to stop the avalanche of broadband users going to other ISPs that offer better service and value.... because there’s plenty of them around.
