WES has good management, good market share, good products and huge growth potential with Coles, but was burdened with huge debt for the Coles buyout.
Capital raising was done at a strategic time which has raised $2.5B +, which is plenty to keep those greedy banks at bay.
We picked up extra WES in the offer (only to average down the unit holding costs) and I was a little nervous at the time - look at the CBA, BSL, QAN capital raising - SP kept falling after the capital raising, and some times you just think it is a bottomless pit that you are throwing $$$ in.
